What in the Flying Blue Fuck?!?!
Satan’s Study Bible is the most controversial book series ever written. In the Holy Bible, God and his only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ, have made their case against Satan. For two thousand years, the Devil has taken the blame for the Plague, witchcraft, the deaths of the young, war, famine, pestilence, ad nausem. He has taken it all with remarkable silence. Christians continue to slander and libel him with all the lies printed in the Bible. Now, after two millennia of silence, Satan, once the prosecutor in God’s court (Job 1:6), offers his rebuttal in the case against Christ, through his council- the editors and contributors to Satan’s Study Bible: The Four Gospels. Many books have made a “Case For Christ”, but the prosecutor makes his “Case against Christ” for two thousand years of war-crimes against humanity.
Can Blasphemy Teach the Gospel?!?!
The editors and contributors to Satan’s Study Bible are not stereotypical Satanists, who worship Satan during highly sexualized S & M Black Masses. One would be startlingly foolish to worship the personification of evil. What would one do if one conjured the Devil? Ask him if he would care for some tea and biscuits?
The editors do, however, have a peculiar theology based around a simple notion: that blasphemy can teach the Gospel. They are not talking about calling Jesus a [blank] or God a [blank]. This is simple vulgarity. To truly blaspheme against God, the blasphemer must have an extraordinary knowledge of the religion he is rebelling against. Salmon Rushie had to have known that the metaphors and symbolisms in his Satanic Verses would be accused of blasphemy by Muslims. Therefore if the blasphemer possesses an extraordinary religious knowledge, then even in this darkness of blasphemy does the light of the Gospel still shine the brightest.
Just as “the Devil can cite Scripture for his purpose”, the editors believe the blasphemy of Satan’s Study Bible can help your soul find salvation in Christ! We know, blasphemy!
Can Satan Inspire a Study Bible?!?!
Satan’s Study Bible actually is a Study Bible, complete with the full text of the Biblical book(s) on the top of the page and extensive footnotes on the bottom. The footnotes either focus on a single verse or a collective of consecutive verses that share a similar Biblical theme or story.
Most footnotes have averaged to be around 250 words in length. For footnotes that are either too lengthy or explore an important theme, they are separated into articles. Articles can either be seen as long footnotes or essays on a particular Satanic Biblical theme. Articles are essential parts of Satan’s Study Bible that allow for a great depth of scholarship. Articles often explore controversial topics of great import to the anti-Christian: did Jesus get married to Mary Magdalene during the wedding at Cana or if Jesus was alive in the 21st century, would Jesus be diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic?
